South posted their biggest win since November 25th on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 49-23 margin over the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

Despite the loss, Wiseburn- Da Vinci still got an impressive performance from Kayla Muhammad-Flissinger, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 16 points and five rebounds. Muhammad-Flissinger has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

South's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

South and North will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Wiseburn- Da Vinci and El Segundo will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
