Banning entered their tilt with Cathedral City on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cathedral City Lions 57-7. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 26 points or more this season.

Banning got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maria Raygoza out in front who posted 15 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Raygoza has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Nylea Smith was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

Banning smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 21 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Banning pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.8 points per game. As for Cathedral City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Banning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cathedral City, they and Desert Mirage will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
