The third road game was the charm for the Quartz Hill Royals, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took their contest on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 56-21 win over Littlerock. With Quartz Hill ahead 38-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Ashantee Palmer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mandy Frozina, who scored 10 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals.
The win got Quartz Hill back to even at 2-2. As for Littlerock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Quartz Hill will head out on the road to face off against Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Littlerock, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. Antelope Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Littlerock likes a good challenge.
