Cromwell will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Bigfork at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close game.
Cromwell had to kick off their season on the road last week, but they showed no ill effects. They made easy work of North Woods and carried off a 44-22 win. Senior Drew Libbon, who rushed for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Cromwell's success. In fact, with 15 tackles Libbon was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Bigfork couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 6-41 defeat at the hands of Kelley.
Cromwell's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Bigfork's loss dropped them down to 0-1. The Cromwell defense had it out for the quarterback last game and accrued 4.0 sacks, so hopefully Bigfork's offensive line has put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
