The Foothill Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 27 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Enterprise 56-22 on the road. The win was just what Foothill needed coming off of a 63-43 loss in their prior matchup.
Leading Foothill to victory were Lexi Peters and Riley Sedlak. Peters scored 12 points along with five rebounds, while Sedlak scored 14 points. The game was Peters' 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyndal Whitehouse, who scored eight points.
Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Enterprise, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
Foothill will be playing at home against Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Aj Gambol and Peters. As for Enterprise, they will head out on the road to face off against Chico at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
