In what's become a running theme this season, the Vincent Memorial Scots gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Calipatria, posting a 53-16 win on the road. The victory was nothing new for Vincent Memorial as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vincent Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paola Longoria, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. Longoria hasn't dropped below 17 points for 12 straight games. Daniella Ortega was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Vincent Memorial's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Calipatria, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Coincidentally, Vincent Memorial and Calipatria will both be playing Southwest EC the next time they take the court. Calipatria will head out to face Southwest EC at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Vincent Memorial will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
