Williams is 8-1-1 against Willows since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Williams Yellowjackets will look to defend their home pitch against the Willows Honkers at 3:00 p.m.
After soaring to four goals the game before, Williams were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Paradise.
Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Willows was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Pierce could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Willows avoided a loss thanks to
Damaris Martinez and
Ciara Aguilar, who posted both of Willows' goals. The pair have combined for a total of 11 so far this season.
Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-3. With that draw, Willows' record moves to 3-16-1.
Williams beat Willows 2-0 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Williams repeat their success, or does Willows have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
