Quincy is 3-0 against Burney since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Quincy Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Burney Raiders at 12:00 p.m. Quincy is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Quincy can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Portola with a sharp 61-36 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Quincy has posted since December 20, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quincy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tatum Hughes, who scored 14 points. Hughes' trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Hana Hostetter, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Burney ended up a good deal behind Portola on Friday and lost 44-29.
The losing side was boosted by Diana Gonzalez Green, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Quincy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Burney, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Quincy against Burney in their previous meeting two weeks ago as the team secured a 63-27 victory. With Quincy ahead 39-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
