The Brashear Bulls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They blew past Neighborhood Academy 60-19 on the road. Brashear has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 29 points or more this season.
Ariana Sherrill was her usual excellent self, scoring 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Braiya Bowie, who scored nine points.
The victory was the third in a row for Brashear, bringing their record for this year to 7-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.33 points. As for Neighborhood Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Brashear will be playing in front of their home fans against Taylor Allderdice at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Taylor Allderdice has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 286 points over their last four matchups. As for Neighborhood Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Friday.
