The Kaiser Cats suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 66-42 defeat at the hands of Rialto. Kaiser has struggled against Rialto recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Carrington Davis was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 41 points and 14 rebounds for Rialto. That makes it six consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of Rialto's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yamileth Perez, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Kaiser bumped their record down to 8-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Rialto, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kaiser will square off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eisenhower will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Rialto, they will head out on the road to take on King/Drew at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. King/Drew has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
