The Southside Christian Warriors came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Kerr-Vance Academy with a 27-22 win on Tuesday. The victory was just what Southside Christian needed coming off of a 51-18 defeat in their prior matchup.
Anna Coley was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Southside Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Southside Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st.
