Hesperia Christian stacked  a  13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against the Desert Christian Knights as the Hesperia Christian Patriots made off with  a  16-9 win. Winning may never get old, but Hesperia Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Ayden Ortega made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Ortega was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Caleb Audet was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Nathaniel Renner, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his six plate appearances.
 On Desert Christian's side,  Jacob Acosta and  James Henderson did some serious damage despite the final result:  Acosta  went 1-for-2 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run, while  Henderson  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Logan Mount, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Hesperia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Desert Christian, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 15-7.
 As of now, neither Hesperia Christian nor Desert Christian have any future games scheduled.
