The South Pasadena Tigers will face off against the La Canada Spartans at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
South Pasadena saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against Rocky Mountain, falling 9-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Pasadena got a good showing from Gabe Vogel, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Vogel has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Aaron Kawasaki made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, La Canada sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Pasadena on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.
Fritz Phillips looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has become a key player for La Canada: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-6 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Will Park, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. La Canada is undefeated when Park posts two or more runs, but 4-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Benji Geller, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
South Pasadena's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for La Canada, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
