Mendez has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Hollywood Sheiks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Mendez's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Hollywood's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Last Friday, Mendez came up short against Bernstein and fell 39-26.
Meanwhile, Hollywood entered their tilt with Bernstein with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hollywood secured a 55-50 W over Bernstein on Wednesday.
Mendez's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Hollywood, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Mendez came up short against Hollywood in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, falling 38-25. Can Mendez avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
