Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Marin Catholic Wildcats, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulls on Wednesday.
Marin Catholic's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2-4. As for Branson, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2-4.
Marin Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Branson, they will be playing at home against Redwood at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Redwood's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
