The Washington Prexies will be playing in front of their home fans against the California Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Washington's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while the Trojans have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Thursday, Washington was able to grind out a solid victory over the Mighty Mikes, taking the game 32-23.
Washington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaprice Johnson out in front who scored nine points along with six steals. Johnson hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Teyler Barnes was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, California made easy work of the Bearcats on Thursday and carried off a 52-31 win.
Washington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for California, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
Washington strolled past the Trojans when the teams last played back in January by a score of 56-41. Will Washington repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
