The Forest Hills Rangers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 71-40 win over Bishop Carroll at home. Forest Hills has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 27 points or more this season.
Forest Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Arissa Britt led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Britt has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alexis Henderson, who scored 21 points.
Forest Hills' win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Bishop Carroll, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hills will square off against Penn Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Penn Cambria is on a three-game streak of home wins, Forest Hills a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Bishop Carroll's road trip will continue as they head out to face Somerset at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th.
