Rock Canyon waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Ponderosa Mustangs as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.
Dakota Dugan was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Longmire, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rock Canyon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 6-3 when they post 11 or more hits.
The win got Rock Canyon back to even at 7-7. As for Ponderosa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
