Volleyball Recap: Olpe Triumphs

Olpe won the last time they faced Hartford and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Olpe was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12.

Lilly Skalsky paced Olpe's offense, picking up nine kills. Skalsky got some help from Kayla Steinke and her ten assists. Steinke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Olpe's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Hartford, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Coming up, Olpe will be playing at home against Madison on Saturday. As for Hartford, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Burlingame on the 23rd.
