Kehillah is 0-6 against Mountain View Academy since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Kehillah Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Mountain View Academy Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Both have allowed few points on average, (Kehillah: 21.7, Mountain View Academy: 30) so any points scored will be well earned.
Kehillah took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 42-16 margin over Mid-Peninsula. The squad ran away with 32 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Kehillah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adi Lerner, who posted eight points and 13 boards. Lerner has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Noga Kohavi was another key player, putting up 15 points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mountain View Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Pacific Bay Christian by a score of 30-28.
Loss or not, Mountain View Academy got some senior leadership from Audrey Mackey and Leilani Wright. Mackey went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points, while Wright put up 13 points. That was a full 53.6% of Mountain View Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.
Kehillah's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mountain View Academy, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kehillah has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Mountain View Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Kehillah came up short against Mountain View Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 32-27. Can Kehillah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
