The Boron Bobcats's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 37-24 win over Lone Pine. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Boron also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Hailey Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with 6 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Boron's points. Another player making a difference was Yazmin Page, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
Boron now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lone Pine, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Boron will be playing at home against California City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. California City comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Lone Pine, they will head out on the road to face off against Coleville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Coleville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 last Saturday.
