Dow extended their winning streak to six on Monday, bumping them up to 25-5-1. Everything went their way against the Davison Cardinals as they made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Keegan Malley, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Dow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Davison only posted an OBP of .333.

As for Davison, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Dow since April 22, 2019.

On Davison's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylon Green, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Green has become a key player for the Cardinals: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 7-10 otherwise.

Dow will have a chance to go back-to-back against Davison: the pair will be back at it again later today.
