Portales had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Shiprock Chieftains 67-28. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Portales is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.1 points. This is the second loss in a row for Shiprock and nudges their season record down to 13-16.

Looking ahead, Portales will square off against St. Pius X at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Shiprock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
