Karena Eberts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 18 rebounds. The match was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Willa Mapaye, who scored 12 points.
Castro Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Qiomy Espinoza, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Naomi Chew, who scored 16 points along with six assists.
Castro Valley struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Miramonte has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Castro Valley, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
