The Marshall Eagles will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Pasadena Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Marshall had to suffer through a rough 55-27 loss at the hands of Bonita.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Destiny Ihiaso, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jolynn Abilar, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Pasadena, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-42 loss to Glendale on Thursday. Pasadena has struggled against Glendale recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Pasadena, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 7-6.
