Winona won the last time they faced Faribault, and things went their way on Friday, too. Winona strolled past Faribault with points to spare, taking the contest 27-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Winona. The match brought Winona to 2-0 and dropped Faribault to a mirror-image 0-2.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Winona will stay at home next week against New Prague at 7:00 PM. As for Faribault, they will face off against Northfield.
