 Despite the  loss, Adams Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Jencee Foster  had 26  digs and four assists. Those 26  digs set a new season-high mark for  Foster.
 South Adams' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Charlee Bollenbacher led the charge by  getting 12  digs. That's the most  digs  Bollenbacher has posted  over her last six  contests.
Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for South Adams, their record is now 19-8.
 Adams Central has already played their next match,  a  3-1  loss against Southern Wells on the 9th. As for South Adams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  victory against Fort Wayne Snider on the 6th.
