Bishop lost to Montgomery back in December of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Everything went the Bishop's Knights' way against the Montgomery Aztecs as the Bishop's Knights made off with a 57-36 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Bishop's was led to victory by Kamaili Lasua and Moana Peterson. Lasua went 7 for 9 en route to 17 points and seven boards, while Peterson went 6 of 7 on her way to 12 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Margo Leong, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Montgomery's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Datalia Sanchez, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and four steals. Sanchez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Paula Zumstein, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Bishop's has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Bishop's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-30 defeat against Francis Parker on the 24th. Montgomery has also already played their next game, a 57-41 loss against Victory Christian Academy on the 27th.
