For the first time this season, Antioch will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Liberty Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Antioch will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
On Monday, Antioch needed a bit of extra time to put away West. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolfpack, sneaking past 12-11. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jaxon Connelly looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Antioch is 2-1 when Connelly allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nathan Fritzler, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Stanton Westhorpe was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Antioch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Liberty's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Rodriguez by a score of 5-4.
Jake Farr was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
On the hitting side, Dominic Staben made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Antioch, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.
