Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burbank). They put the hurt on the Foothill Mustangs with a sharp 30-1 win on Thursday. The Titans have beaten the Mustangs the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

Devin Johnson was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Mario Mendoza was another key player, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Burbank always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .740. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Burbank's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Foothill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Burbank has already played their next game, a 16-2 victory against Florin on the 11th. As for Foothill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-4 defeat against Valley on the 15th.
