Albany extended their  winning streak to three games  thanks to a huge performance from  Shawn Keen. The Lions simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Cross Plains Buffaloes 42-0 thanks in part to  Keen, who rushed for 99 yards and three  touchdowns on only seven carries. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 73-yard run.
 Albany didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Calhan Fairchild and  Christian Hernandez. Hernandez is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in each of the last four games he's  played.
Albany's record is now 6-2. As for Cross Plains, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 3-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Albany is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Roscoe  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st. Meanwhile, Cross Plains will  square off against  rival Hamlin  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st.
