Hopefully Cumberland Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Cumberland Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Carlisle, but they still walked away with a 40-35 victory. That 40-35 margin sets a new team best for Cumberland Valley this season.
Among those leading the charge was Sienna Manns, who scored ten points along with five steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Greta Dwyer was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Chambersburg lost to Central Dauphin on the road by a decisive 45-28 margin on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chambersburg has scored all season.
Cumberland Valley's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5. As for Chambersburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
