With a playoff win on the line, Patrick Henry rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 72-11 win over the Calipatria Hornets. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Patrick Henry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kimora Nears, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. What's more, Nears also posted three steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Ally Mangahis was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 13 points along with seven boards and four steals.

Patrick Henry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Patrick Henry is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Calipatria, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Patrick Henry will be playing at home against Escondido at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patrick Henry has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Calipatria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
