Another player making a difference was Kimora Nears, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mira Mesa had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past Lincoln, posting a 64-24 victory on the road. Given Mira Mesa's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 474th, while Lincoln is ranked 1143rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Ivorii Seals, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Mira Mesa's points. Alyssa Otero was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Patrick Henry's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Mira Mesa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.
