The West Shores Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Desert Chapel on the road to the tune of 46-12. The result was nothing new for West Shores, who have now won four matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.
Anastacia Garth was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joana Cabrera, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
The win was the fourth in a row for West Shores, bringing their record for this year to 9-4. As for Desert Chapel, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
West Shores will be playing at home against Warner at 4:00 p.m. on January 19th. Desert Chapel will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coachella Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
