The Bellefonte Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Bedford, falling 48-16. Bellefonte was down 37-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bedford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Mcdevitt, who scored 11 points. Kasey Shuke was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Bellefonte dropped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bedford, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.
Bellefonte will take on the Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clearfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Raiders in Pennsylvania (the Bison are ranked 183rd, while the Raiders are ranked 543rd). As for Bedford, they will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
