Penn Cambria's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabelle Andersen, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Ava Saleme, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Bedford's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 53-44 to Everett.
Despite the loss, Bedford saw an underclassman step up: Rebekah Costal scored 15 points. Shannon Letrent was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Penn Cambria's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Bedford, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Everything went Penn Cambria's way against Bedford when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as Penn Cambria made off with a 49-28 win. With Penn Cambria ahead 34-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
