While Coffee's win against Thomas County Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Coffee Trojans skirted past the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets 4-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 7-0 win on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Coffee and bumps their season record up to 6-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Thomas County Central, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coffee will head out to take on Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coffee is facing Northside at the right time seeing as Northside is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Thomas County Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Houston County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston County will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Thomas County Central surely won't give up without a fight.
