St. Francis barely beat Harvest Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans never let the Lions get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Spartans have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Francis pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Harvest Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Coming up, St. Francis will host Serena at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Alden-Hebron at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Green Giants have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.31 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
