Meanwhile, Wellington never let their opponents score on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Northridge, sneaking past 2-0.
Not much got past Taylor Morgan, who gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Northridge off the board. Morgan has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
