The Immaculate Heart Pandas are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Centennial Apaches at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st. Immaculate Heart has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Last Tuesday, the stars were shining brightly for Immaculate Heart in a 57-39 victory over Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA).
Centennial fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They slipped by Dominguez 48-47 on Monday.
Erin Jackson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 21 rebounds. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Aubrianna Flowers was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five assists and four steals.
Immaculate Heart's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
Immaculate Heart beat Centennial 51-40 in their previous meeting back in December of 2019. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Centennial's Aremesha Rivers, who scored 22 points. Now that she won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Immaculate Heart to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
