Eastside is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Stockbridge on Wednesday, but Stockbridge came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Tigers. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Stockbridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Eastside wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Sandy Creek on the 27th. As for Stockbridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Union Grove on the 27th.
