Meanwhile, Bishop Union hadn't done well against Strathmore recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Bishop Union snuck past Strathmore with a 30-26 victory. The win was nothing new for the Broncos as they're now sitting on six straight.
Bishop Union's win came from a few key players Rosamond will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tannyr Ludwick, who had eight points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Faye Spoonhunter, who earned two points in addition to eight boards and three steals.
Rosamond's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.1 points. As for Bishop Union, their record is now 21-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Rosamond has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bishop Union struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Rosamond's way against Bishop Union in their previous matchup back in January, as Rosamond made off with a 50-30 win. Will Rosamond repeat their success, or does Bishop Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
