The Rancho Cotate Cougars won the last time they faced the Campolindo Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Rancho Cotate had just enough and edged Campolindo out 55-53.
Rancho Cotate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janice Williams, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Reese Hackamack, who scored 9 points along with 17 rebounds and 6 steals.
The victory got Rancho Cotate back to even at 2-2. As for Campolindo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Rancho Cotate will head out on the road to face off against Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor and Rancho Cotate are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Campolindo will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on College Park at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
