D.J. Foster has been named the U.S. Air Force National Player of the Week.
It was a landmark night in Arizona on November 4 as one single-game state record went down, and season and career marks were tied.
According to the Arizona Republic, Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) senior D.J. Fosterscored a state-record 10 touchdowns during an 82-48 Division III first-round victory over Sunrise Mountain.
Foster, a 6-foot, 185-pound uncommitted senior, scored seven TDs rushing and three more receiving giving him 51 scores on the year, which matches the state mark set by Sabinos Nathan Wize in 1997.
Foster is ranked the No. 86 recruit overall in the country by MaxPreps/CBS recruiting expert Tom Lemming.
