While Cathedral Catholic put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Rancho Buena Vista. Cathedral Catholic put the hurt on Rancho Buena Vista with a sharp 9-0 win. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Kaden Kuhn made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kuhn was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other pitching news, Levi Uslander looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Alex Harrington was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Hunter Harrington was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Cathedral Catholic now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rancho Buena Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Cathedral Catholic will challenge JSerra Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rancho Buena Vista, they will face off against Mission Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Buena Vista is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Mission Hills a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
