Fannett Metal's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Everett 58-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fannett Metal has scored all season.
Everett's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jade Colledge, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Colledge has scored all season. Cloe Price was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Fannett Metal dropped their record down to 3-14 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.7 points per game. As for Everett, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Fannett Metal will be playing at home against Tussey Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everett, they will head out on the road to take on Juniata Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
