Baseball Recap: Dymally Takes a Loss

Dymally couldn't beat Jordan on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Challengers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-7. The Challengers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bryan Baires was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has become a key player for Dymally: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Mendoza, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Dymally now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Jordan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Coming up, Dymally will challenge View Park at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jordan, they will square off against George Washington Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
