After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pioneer, the Winters Warriors were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 50-18 victory over Rio Vista. That's another feather in the cap for Winters, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Jordan Tucker was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 10 points. Ahtzire Figueroa was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Rio Vista's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Guadalupe Valdenegro , who scored 3 points along with 3 steals, and Kenayah Banks who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds. Valdenegro is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
