The Potosi Trojans will square off against the Sullivan Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Sullivan will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Potosi extended their winning streak to four on Saturday. The Trojans blew past St. James 7-1.

Brayden Blair and Lane Revelle were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Blair tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Revelle didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Blair has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Blair went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Revelle earned one RBI, one run, and three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave Revelle a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cole Portell was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Sullivan gave up the first runs on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on St. Clair with a sharp 11-2 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted against the Bulldogs since April 17, 2023.
Potosi's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Sullivan, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.
Everything went Potosi's way against Sullivan in their previous meeting back in March, as Potosi made off with a 13-2 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
